Koa's story
Due to Koa’s special medical needs a commercial flight was not possible.
I just want to thank the NZ air ambulance team on behalf of Koa and our whānau.
After a rough 2 weeks at starship we were told we could transfer back to Hawkes Bay hospital. Unfortunately due to Koa’s special medical needs a commercial flight was not possible.
We were flown back to Napier in the air ambulance with an amazing crew who looked after us so well.
From the bottom of our hearts thank you for taking such great care of our girl Koa and the beautiful coastal views gave this mumma a chance to take my mind off things and enjoy the picturesque views of the East Coast
