Skyline Aviation and the New Zealand Air Ambulance Service are certified to NZS8156 New Zealand Aeromedical and Air Rescue Standard and hold ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and ISO 45001 Safety Management System certifications.
We were the first service provider in New Zealand to be accredited to all aeromedical standards.
Skyline also holds New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority approved Part 119 Air Operators Certification, approved Safety Management System (SMS) and Part 125 and Part 135 approvals for domestic and international IFR operations, including jet and turboprop operations.
Our quality manager ensures our Safety Management System is integrated across our businesses and supports the strong safety culture we have created over many years. We have been a previous recipient of the Director of Civil Aviation Safety Award.
Flight Training
Our check & training manager, whom our training captains support, is responsible for flight standards, pilot training and competency. We utilise our Quality & Safety Management software (Q-Pulse) to track all crew training requirements, which for our jet pilots also includes full-motion simulator training.
